✈️ Fear at 30,000 Feet

On a flight, the woman next to me said she was allergic and told me not to eat my snack. I explained I needed it for my medication and offered to move.
Later, she pressed the call button and told the attendant, “I think he’s trying to hurt me.” My heart sank. Luckily, another passenger spoke up, confirming our earlier conversation.
That’s when she broke down. She admitted it wasn’t about the food—she had severe flight anxiety and panicked. She apologized through tears.
When we landed, she mouthed “I’m sorry.” I nodded back. Sometimes, the scariest turbulence isn’t in the sky—it’s inside us.
