On a cold autumn evening, Daniel boarded the last crowded bus home after another exhausting shift at the hospital. Rain tapped softly against the windows while tired passengers stared at their phones or out into the dark streets. Daniel finally found an empty seat near the back and closed his eyes for a moment, grateful for the silence.<\/p>\n
At the next stop, the doors hissed open.<\/p>\n
