A woman was in bed with her lover when she heard her husband opening the front door.
\n\u201cHurry,\u201d she whispered, \u201cstand in the corner!\u201d<\/p>\n

She grabbed baby oil, rubbed it all over him, then dusted him with talcum powder. \u201cDon\u2019t move until I tell you,\u201d she instructed. \u201cPretend you\u2019re a statue.\u201d<\/p>\n

When her husband walked in, he immediately noticed the \u201cstatue\u201d in the corner. \u201cWhat\u2019s this?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, it\u2019s a statue,\u201d she replied nonchalantly. \u201cThe Smiths got one, and I loved it so much, I decided to get one for us, too.\u201d<\/p>\n

The husband seemed satisfied with the explanation, and they both went to bed without another word.<\/p>\n

But at 2 AM, the husband got up, went to the kitchen, and returned with a sandwich and a beer. He walked over to the \u201cstatue\u201d and said:<\/p>\n

\u201cHere, have this. I stood like that for two days at the Smiths\u2019 house, and nobody offered me a damn thing!\u201d<\/p>\n
