Despite Trump\u2019s passion for the sport\u2014evidenced by his ownership of 12 golf courses across the United States\u2014his supposed game with Jackson became a point of contention.<\/p>\n

Trump has often expressed his love for golf, once telling\u00a0Today\u2019s Golfer<\/em>: \u201cI often get asked why did I get involved in golf. Well, I have friends that are very successful people and they love to garden. And I like to garden too \u2013 just in a much bigger way.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, whether Jackson counts himself among Trump\u2019s golf companions is debatable. In a 2016 interview with\u00a0Rhapsody<\/em>\u00a0magazine, the actor claimed that he had received a bill from Trump\u2019s National Golf Club despite not being a member. He dismissed any notion of being close to Trump, clarifying, \u201cI would never say buddies. Or friends. I\u2019ve golfed with him.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked who was the better player, Jackson confidently responded, \u201cOh, I am, for sure. I don\u2019t che.at.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump, however, quickly denied Jackson\u2019s claims, taking to Twitter\u2014now known as X\u2014to dispute the story.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know\u00a0@SamuelLJackson<\/a>, to best of my knowledge haven\u2019t played golf w\/him & think he does too many TV commercials\u2014boring. Not a fan.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response, Jackson fired back in a way only he could: by posting the very bill he had received from Trump\u2019s golf club on Instagram. \u201cA bill from the guy that doesn\u2019t know me & never golfed with me,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI\u2019m gonna block his a** too!\u201d<\/p>\n

The dispute didn\u2019t end there. Jackson later addressed the controversy on\u00a0The Late Show with Seth Meyers<\/em>, where he doubled down on his claims that Trump was not only a frequent golfing partner but also a known cheater.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve met him a lot,\u201d Jackson told Meyers. \u201cWe clearly saw him hook a ball into a lake at Trump National in Jersey. And his caddy told him, \u2018We found it.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Meyers, amused by the accusation, jokingly asked, \u201cWas the caddie soaking wet when he said this?\u201d<\/p>\n

Jackson laughed before continuing, \u201cNo, he was not. He just took off running, and the next thing you know\u2014\u2019I got it, Mr. Trump!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Jackson further revealed that Trump had personally invited him to play golf on multiple occasions and even referred to himself in the third person as \u201cThe Don.\u201d<\/p>\n
