This man was so\u00a0astonished by\u00a0the look of\u00a0his child that he\u00a0demanded to\u00a0take a\u00a0paternity test. My (31F) husband (32M) just mentioned that he\u2019s keen on getting a partntiy test or our 3-week-old baby girl. His reasoning is\u00a0that our daughter has darker hair than him (he\u00a0has brown hair, I\u2019m white blonde). I\u2019m a\u00a0little confused, as\u00a0she hardly has any bloody hair, and this just feels like he\u2019s accusing me\u00a0of\u00a0infidelity!<\/p>\n

I\u00a0actually thought he\u00a0was joking initially.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

He said, \u201cHer hair is really dark.\u201d So I said, \u201cYeah, it is,\u201d even though it isn\u2019t darker than his. He then mentioned getting the test. It was completely out of the blue. I initially said that he should go for it, as I wasn\u2019t thinking. But, now I\u2019ve had some time to reflect, I\u2019m really not happy about it.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

If\u00a0he\u00a0wants to\u00a0get the test, fine by\u00a0me, BUT it\u00a0just feels like he\u00a0doesn\u2019t trust\u00a0me. Am\u00a0I\u00a0overthinking this?! He\u00a0has no\u00a0reason to\u00a0think like this. He\u00a0even went as\u00a0far as\u00a0to\u00a0say, \u201cIf\u00a0she wasn\u2019t mine biologically, she\u2019d still be\u00a0my\u00a0girl.\u201d That statement just pissed me\u00a0off, and I\u2019ve said nothing to\u00a0him since.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
