So there I was, casually strolling through the mall, when I spotted who I thought was my girlfriend walking ahead of me. Same hair, same outfit style, same familiar little bounce in her step. Naturally, I decided to sneak up and surprise her in the most boyfriend-y way possible.<\/p>\n
I wrapped my arms around her from behind and whispered, \u201cGuess who?\u201d<\/p>\n
Well she guessed \u201cA complete stranger,\u201d because it wasn\u2019t my girlfriend.<\/p>\n
She screamed, I panicked, and suddenly we were in the middle of the most awkward moment of my life. I immediately apologized and tried to explain the mistake, but she looked understandably freaked out. And to make things even worse (or better, depending who you ask), my actual girlfriend showed up right then and she saw everything.<\/p>\n
She didn\u2019t get mad. She doubled over laughing.<\/p>\n
Now she keeps calling me \u201cCaptain Smooth,\u201d and occasionally sneaks up behind me just to whisper, \u201cGuess who?\u201d with a smug grin.<\/p>\n
