I (M27) thought my wife (F29) and I had a happy marriage. We\u2019d been together for years, and things always seemed solid between us. Recently, she switched jobs\u2014moving from teaching at an elementary school to working at the local high school. Not long after, she started working late more often, but I didn\u2019t think much of it at the time.<\/p>\n
What did stand out was how often she mentioned one particular student. She\u2019d talk about how dedicated he was, what a hard worker he seemed to be. Then came the constant texts. I found it odd, but I trusted her. She was a teacher, after all.<\/p>\n
One day, this student unexpectedly showed up at our door with coffee. I was supposed to be at work, but had stayed home a little longer that morning.
