We\u00a0made sacrifices together\u2014I even sold my\u00a0engagement ring to\u00a0add to\u00a0the savings. We\u00a0cut back on\u00a0everything. By\u00a0this year, we\u00a0had tens of\u00a0thousands saved.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, I\u00a0logged into our joint account to\u00a0make a\u00a0deposit. The balance was\u00a0<strong>zero<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>At\u00a0first, I\u00a0thought it\u00a0was a\u00a0bank error. But after checking the transaction history, I\u00a0saw the money had been slowly and quietly transferred into an\u00a0account\u00a0I didn\u2019t recognize over the past year. I\u00a0confronted him immediately.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s when it\u00a0all came out.<br \/>\nApparently, three years ago (before our wedding), he\u00a0had a\u00a0one-night stand with a\u00a0coworker.
