Mom Furious upon Seeing Her Sons Cry after Opening Presents They Received from Their Aunt
As I walked down the aisle, clutching my bouquet, I noticed thick green slime trailing down my wedding dress. My sister’s appearance at our celebration was met with surprise and unease. Despite the tension, she presented the boys with large, beautifully wrapped boxes. The twins eagerly tore into the paper, expecting gifts, but instead found only empty boxes that once held toy cars.
Daniel and Colin were devastated, and I turned to my sister, frustrated. “Kim, what is this?” She laughed it off, calling it a harmless prank. But the boys were crushed, claiming it was their worst birthday. I had enough and kicked Kim out of the house, watching her walk away in the rain, only to be drenched by a passing car.
Smiling to myself, I returned to the party, where Antonio reassured the boys that the prank wasn’t their fault. Later, as the kids went to bed, I received a text from Kim that simply read: “Sorry.” Maybe, just maybe, this was the beginning of her understanding the consequences of her actions. For now, I’d keep my kids away from her pranks.
