A woman discovers her husband of 17 years cheating when she finds intimate photos and messages on his phone. While confronting him, she collapses and suffers a severe spinal injury, leading to partial paralysis. Her husband, showing no remorse, leaves her and their son, Alex, to live with his mistress.
