Hollywood was rocked today after news broke that actress Demi Moore was involved in a serious accident while hiking in the Hollywood Hills.
According to close sources, the 62-year-old star was out on her usual morning walk when she slipped on a loose patch of trail and tumbled several feet down a rocky slope. Emergency responders were called immediately and she was airlifted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she is currently being treated for a fractured wrist and head trauma.
A statement from her publicist read:
“Demi is stable and conscious. She is being closely monitored by doctors and surrounded by family. We ask for privacy during this time.”
Demi’s daughters — Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah Willis — rushed to her side, visibly shaken but hopeful. Rumer posted a photo of her mom’s hand in hers with the caption:
“You are the strongest woman I know. We’re all here, every second.”
The emotional outpouring from fans and celebrities has been overwhelming. Longtime friend and co-star Bruce Willis, despite his own ongoing health battle, reportedly sent a message to her bedside through the family.
Though the road to recovery may be long, sources close to the family say Demi remains in good spirits and is determined to heal.
