Little Baby Won’t Stop Crying No Matter What Parents Do, Then They Finally Check the Crib – Story of the Day
Walter comes home from work to find his baby, Logan, crying uncontrollably. His wife, Abby, has already tried everything to calm him down, but nothing works. Walter checks the crib and finds a dictaphone and a note from a kidnapper demanding $200,000 and threatening to harm Logan if they contact the police.
Walter recalls a janitor he had mistreated at the maternity hospital and suspects him to be behind the kidnapping. They plan to go to the police, but a message warns them not to. Instead, they follow the kidnapper’s instructions, and Walter leaves the ransom money in a storage locker, only to discover it was a trap. The janitor denies any knowledge of the baby and claims he was just paid to deliver the ransom.
Desperate, Walter later learns from Abby that she is the one behind Logan’s kidnapping. She fakes a story about Logan being sick and demands real ransom money. Walter cooperates, but when he follows her to the hospital, the police and FBI arrest Abby and her accomplice, her brother James.
It is revealed that Logan is perfectly fine, and Abby’s deceit is exposed. Walter vows to adopt Logan and raise him as his own. The couple is arrested, and Walter leaves with his son, determined to protect him no matter what.
