A woman receives a large bonus at work and shares the news with her fiancé, Kyle, expecting him to be happy for her. However, he reacts indifferently and then asks her to fund a luxury vacation for his entire family. She agrees to pay for the $12,000 trip, hoping it will bring them closer before their wedding.
Upon arriving in the Bahamas, Kyle and his family complain about the accommodations, and Kyle spends most of the time drinking at the pool bar. When she tries to spend time with him, he dismisses her. On the fourth day, she finds him flirting with another woman at the resort.
Fed up, she quietly leaves the trip, cancels all bookings, and charges the expenses to Kyle’s card. Later, she is offered a bigger bonus and leadership role at work after an acquaintance notices her composure during the trip’s chaos.
