My car was stolen on Valentine’s Day 3 years ago. Above all odds, they later found it in a tow yard. I went to pick it up, and while I was waiting for some paperwork to process, I noticed a girl sitting in the corner by herself with a forlorn look on her face. I approached her and when I asked what was wrong, she told me she didn’t have enough money to get her car back. Apparently she was short by about $12, which I offered to give her. Maybe something else was bothering her that day because she burst into tears and threw her arms around me. She asked me if there was any way she could pay me back… so I said “how about a date?”
Here I am 3 years later and I still have the girl… and the car 🙂
