I got off work early and headed home, looking forward to a chill evening. When I pulled up, I saw my brother’s truck outside. At first, I didn’t think much of it maybe he dropped something off or was just visiting.
But the second I walked in, something felt off. I heard noises coming from upstairs. My gut dropped. I went up, hoping I was wrong.
I wasn’t.
I caught them in bed together. My own brother. My girlfriend at the time. I lost it I punched him, we fought, and that was that. I broke things off with her immediately, and I haven’t said a single word to my brother since that day.
It’s been two years. I’m not sure if I want to reconnect, but if I do how do I even start that conversation?
