When Parking Wars Meet Unexpected Surprises

My neighbor thought the rules didn’t apply to him — constantly parking right in front of my driveway despite my polite warnings. Last week, I noticed a girl dressed up for a date knocking on his door. I figured, tonight’s the night — so I called a tow truck. No notes, no warnings. Just gone.
Half an hour later, the girl came back, confused. “Hey, do you know where my car is?”
“Yours?” I asked.
“Yeah, I leased it to him. He always parks here.”
“Well, it got towed.” I shrugged. She muttered and walked away. Since then, no more driveway blockades—and no more date nights, it seems.
On a completely different note, I once had a patient come for a right foot X-ray. As I confirmed the order, I looked them in the eye and said, “Right foot, correct?” They looked down at their missing left leg and said, “I’m pretty sure.” Took me a moment to realize what was going on!
Sometimes, life throws you little surprises — from parking battles to unexpected medical moments.
