The Entitled Mom at the Café

I had just landed my dream job as a marketing director and went to my favorite café to celebrate with my best friend, Megan. While waiting at our usual table, an entitled mom shoved past me and demanded my seat for her and her kids, ignoring other empty tables nearby.

When I refused to move, she grew loud and aggressive—until my uncle, Tony, who owned the café, stepped in. She threatened to get him fired, only to go silent when he calmly revealed he was the owner. Red-faced, she shuffled off to a different table.

Megan arrived just in time for the end of the drama. Over coffee and cake, we toasted to new beginnings, standing our ground, and slaying entitled dragons.
