š° Sweet Revenge in Tenerife

On my solo trip, I finally found peaceāsunsets, ocean air, and the tiramisu Iād been dreaming about.
But just as I took a bite, a mother at my table snapped:
āStop eating that in front of our kidsāit sets a bad example.ā
When I came back from refilling my water, my dessert was gone. Sheād lied to the waiter and had it taken away.
So, I got even. I ordered the resortās entire chocolate celebration cakeāwith sparklers. The kids cheered, she turned pale, and I savored every bite while she stormed out.
The next morning, I watched the sunrise with leftover cake and thought:
The best revenge? Enjoying lifeāextra sweet.
