Facing Old Wounds in the Middle of a Celebration 💔

I was married for four years before divorcing my ex — she cheated.
My sister knew.
Years later, at her wedding, I walked in and saw my ex-wife… sitting at my table.
My sister just smiled, pretending it was normal.
For a moment, all those old wounds reopened — anger, betrayal, disbelief. But then, something in me shifted.
I realized this wasn’t my battle anymore.
So, I stayed. I smiled. I celebrated my sister’s happiness — even while sitting across from the woman who’d broken me.
Because healing doesn’t always come in silence or distance.
Sometimes it comes when you can sit at the same table and still choose peace.
