Reiner was a legendary filmmaker known for classics such as The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally…, Stand by Me, Misery, and A Few Good Men. Tributes poured in from across Hollywood, including John Cusack, Elijah Wood, James Woods, and Norman Lear’s family.
Monty Python star Eric Idle revealed he spoke with Reiner for over an hour the night before his death, calling him a kind, talented, and thoughtful man. The tragedy has deeply shocked the film community as investigations continue.
