A lady goes into a pet store one day. #3

A lonely lady bought a parrot hoping for company. The parrot didn’t speak, so the clerk suggested buying a ladder, then a mirror, then a bell—each meant to coax it into talking.

She returned, frustrated, only to find the parrot had died. Its final words? “Doesn’t that store carry any food?”

Lesson: Sometimes, it’s not about what we do—it’s what the parrot really wants.
