Claire and Aaron celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary at the same restaurant where they had their first date. While Claire is excited, Aaron seems distracted—his eyes constantly drifting to their young, beautiful waitress, Kelsey.
Trying to ignore it, Claire excuses herself to the restroom, but when she returns, she sees Kelsey handing Aaron a note. Suspicious and hurt, she later retrieves it from the trash after Aaron leaves for “work.”
The note stuns her:
“You have a gorgeous wife in front of you, SIR! She looks at you with love, while you’re staring at me. She deserves better. Appreciate her. Love her!”
Realizing his mistake, Aaron returns home with flowers, wine, and an apology. He admits his embarrassment and vows to cherish Claire more. Moved by his sincerity, Claire forgives him, and they spend the night reminiscing and reconnecting.
The next day, Claire visits Kelsey to thank her. She gifts her a department store card, grateful for the young waitress who, unknowingly, helped save her marriage.
