5-year-old courageously carries sister out of burning home, then rushes back to help other family members.

In a heart-stopping moment, 5-year-old Noah Woods from Georgia became a true hero. When an electrical fire broke out in his bedroom during the night, Noah woke up, grabbed his 2-year-old sister Lily, and escaped through a window—bringing their dog with them.

But Noah didn’t stop there. Knowing more family members were still inside, he ran back in and woke his uncle, helping save everyone in the house. Though he suffered a small burn, Noah’s quick thinking saved seven lives.

Honored as an Honorary Firefighter, Noah’s bravery touched hearts across the country. A GoFundMe campaign raised over $35,000 to help the uninsured family rebuild.

Noah simply said, “I just got Lily and got out.” But to his family—and the world—he’s a real-life superhero.
